I hope you are all doing well and if Josh wants this post gone for any reason he's welcome to remove it
I don't know if you all know this but for a pretty long while I was building an indoor football manager game that was using the OIFL as a template. I have since switched it up and moved to one-way players and a 100-point rating scale and slightly different ratings than the OIFL, however. I am nearing a the completion of my alpha version for which I will be letting anyone play the game for free and give me feedback while I continue to develop the game towards a beta version (beta will likely remain a free version as well).
If any of you are interested in seeing what I've built so far you can read a little bit about it here:
gmgames.org/indoor-football-manager-ifm/
Although, those screens and that video are a little dated now (alpha versions go through a LOT of change) its still accurate for the base appearance of the game.
The game features online play, so you can submit your team changes to the commissioner and he runs the sims from his machine most other manager-style games. For the most up-to-date information you should join the GM Games Discord. Indoor Football Manager has a separate channel there where I post fresh screens and information.
BTw, it was nice to be back on the OIFL site.. I still miss it! Unfortunately life is far too busy for me. I run an entire online community now called Online Sports Network (https://onlinesports.network/) our website is super boring and has no content lol but that's just how busy my regular life is. I'm nearing the completion of my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and I'm a full-time programmer. My free time now consists of running the CFA and UBA at OSN as well as spending time with my wife. So I don't have much time other than that so I try to get as much programming time in with IFM when I can. Its been a long process... a very long process...
Anyways, again, I hope you are all doing well and will give my game a look and maybe even try it out one day!
