As people have been discussing the seeding here's my suggestion.
1 and 2 get byes to Round 2.
Round 1 a. 13 v 14 b. 5 v 8 c. 3 v 10 d. 4 v 9 e. 6 v 7 f. 11 v 12
Round 2. A. 1 v a B. b v c C. d v e D. 2 v f
Round 3. 1. A v B 2. C v D
Final 1 v 2
Highest seed has home field advantage all rounds except Final as it's played at Neutral venue.

Round 2–switch 3/10 and 4/9 placements, so 4/9 is in #1 seed bracket (making 1 seed side 1, 4, 5, 8, 9, 13, 14– 2 seed side 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12)
Round 3 then becomes 1/(13/14) vs (5/8)/(4/9) winner, and 2/(11/12) vs (3/10)/(6/7)… in all likelihood 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3
In your scenario based on high seed expected to win, we’d have 1 vs 3 and 2 vs 4 in the semis, which does not benefit the 1 seed

Well spotted, you're right about switching the 3 and 4 seed.

If we stick to no conferences this works in my opinion.

This idea works for me. I like it.
