Thought I'd share my thoughts on who should get Player of the Week nods this week. Feel free to discuss or share your own!
QB of the Week: Nigel Lamb - Eugene - 20/29, 207 yds, 6 TDs, 0 INT - 141.02 Rating
The Knights didn't get the W, but it definitely wasn't Lamb's fault. This was a winning effort in 95% of games.
RB of the Week: Royce Buchanan - VAN - 21 carries, 100 yds, 3 TDs
The week's sole 100-yard rusher, a strong performance from the future Hall of Famer.
WR of the Week: Darius Mockobee - EUG - 8 rec., 90 yds, 4 TDs
Led the league in catches, yards and TDs this week. Some other strong performances from players in Green Bay and Mexico City, but this is a clear choice.
Lineman of the Week: Colin Morrison - WAS - 1 sack (4 yds), 1 INT (2 yds)
Gotta give it to a lineman getting an interception; and it wasn't the only play he made either. A few players had multi-sack performances, but giving the nod to the takeaway.
LB of the Week: Ross Franklin - LA - 1 sack (4 yds), 1 FF
Franklin got a sack and knocked the ball out of a guy's hands, so he gets the nod from me this week.
DB of the Week: Larry Dimick - RIC - 1 INT (22 yds), 1 PBU
Dimick made multiple plays in the game, and got the biggest return on his interception.
Special Teamer of the Week: Vincent Gerard III - BAL - 10 ret., 199 yds, 1 TD
VG3 was one of two returners to take it to the house in week 1, but he put up the larger body of work overall to help Baltimore overcome Lamb's big performance.

I'd put up Keyshaun Wolf as QB of the Week. QB going 22/34 238yds 5TD on his league debut should get the plaudits.
